Privacy Policy

It is Harbour Rock's long-standing commitment to safeguard the privacy of information provided to us by our clients and colleagues. This commitment coincides with our goal to be a global leader in professional services. Protecting the confidentiality and security of client information has always been an integral part of how we conduct our business worldwide.
It is our pledge to continue to ensure that our global business practices protect your privacy.

Harbour Rock and its affiliates have voluntarily adopted and follow the Code of Professional Conduct of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a code that is more restrictive than the provisions of the FTC.  Additionally, we are subject to the Internal Revenue Code Section that makes it a misdemeanor to disclose tax return information other than in connection with the preparation of the return.

Types of Nonpublic Personal Information We Collect

Much of the nonpublic personal financial information about you that we obtain is provided by you or obtained by us with your authorization for the purpose of preparing income tax or other filings as well as providing accounting, consulting and other professional services.

Parties to Whom We Disclose Information

For our current and former clients, we do not disclose any nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of our practice except as required or permitted by law.  Permitted disclosures include, for example, providing information to our employees for use in the preparation of tax returns or other filings.  With your consent, we may provide information to unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing services to you.  In all such situations, we stress the confidential nature of the information being shared.

Protecting the Confidentiality and Security of Current and Former Client’s Information

We retain records relating to professional services that we provide so that we are better able to assist you with your professional needs and, in some cases, to comply with our professional guidelines.  In order to guard the privacy of your nonpublic personal information, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with our professional standards.

Please contact us if you have any questions concerning our Privacy Policy.  Your privacy, our professional ethics, and the ability to provide you with quality services are very important to us.
